Amissville Volunteer Fire Department.

Rappahannock Animal Welfare League (RAWL). RAWL manages the daily operation of the only "no kill" animal shelter in the area. It provide an energetic adoption program that finds loving homes for 99% of the dogs received. Partial funding is provided by Rappahannock County, but the majority comes from pr5ivate donations. The shelter is located off Rte 639 in Amissville.

Ruritan. Little League baseball games are held at Stuart's Field in Amissville.
