Viewtown Store

Henry Spillman was this store's original owner/operator. Mr. Spillman sold it to Jesse Barron, who later gave it to his son, T.C. Barron. The store and the Post Office were in continuous operation from 1890 until 1998. It is presently owned by John & Margaret Wiese. The Wieses hope to open the store again some day.

The store is now the home of the New Harvest Christian Fellowship and of Youth Alive of Amissville. Youth Alive is a Christian outreach welcoming all area youth and it meets at 7:30 p.m. Saturdays.
