J.C. Cropp Outbuilding

There was once a large home here that was owned by J.C. Cropp. He left it to his daughter Mrs. Charles Smith, who left it to her son Emerson Smith. The house burned while he lived there. It is rumored that his wife tried to burn the place down with him in it, for the inheritance, but he survived. She immediately disappeared to places unknown.
